Mid Level Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection Engineers needed for Data Center and Critical Disaster Recovery Facility Engineering projects nationwide.

Critical Facilities Engineering Requirements:

• Ability to convert architectural backgrounds into company backgrounds and standards
• Ability to work in a team and travel up to 25%
• Possess strong documentation skills
• Have a good sense of coordination and follow through
• Ability to communicate well with the Senior Mechanical Engineer / Client
• Possess detailed knowledge of equipment from various manufacturers for his/her trade and able to make proper selections
• Ability to perform calculations for his/her trade to support design
• Possess basic knowledge of systems design for various projects
• Ability to communicate design concepts via sketches and renderings
• Ability to estimate construction costs and to evaluate feasibility of construction
• Possess knowledge of specifications
• Have a good understanding of codes for his/her trade
• Ability to conduct field visits and write field observation reports
• Ability to write technical reports
• Ability to perform construction administration tasks
• Ability to conduct due diligence reports
• Ability to write engineering proposals for small projects
• Polished professional with client experience
• Ability to identify own training needs
• Willing to seek knowledge from others
• Effectively organize others supporting your efforts
• Ability to maintain enthusiasm about work
• Enthusiastic about enhancing standards and assisting TLC with tasks related to development of standards
• Available to work overtime to meet project deadlines
• Comply with company standards and procedures

Education
Bachelor Degree from accredited university in Mechanical disciplines (U.S. Licenses will be accepted in lieu of the above)

Relevant Experience
HVAC, Power Distribution, Fire Protection, MEP, Mission Critical Data Center or Critical Facilities Focus
Minimum of 7 years experience required, licensed PE a plus.
Data Center / Mission Critical Experience a big plus Military contractor backround a plus
Significant relevant experience in the Architecture and Engineering field

Experience conducting presentations and knowledge of the industry. Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD. Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project
